Aishiteru

I was  14/15 when i was at X hospital for a xray. While waiting for my turn, a rather older Japanese couple was waiting for their turn. The wife had to drink some liquid before her scan and it was abit difficult to swallow. The husband was holding the wife hand, handing her the drink and holding her tightly. It must have been difficult for the wife, but it must have been worst for the husband as the look in his eyes, just wanting to take all the pain away from the wife onto himself just to see his wife well again.

An old man that is hard of hearing and abit too old to be walking by himself asked his daughter to bring him to the nursing home where his wife is at. His wife just suffered a stroke.  The daughter promised to bring him over at 11am when visiting hours were. He told no one and left. Walked all the way from the house to the nursing home. It was quiet a distance. While he was gone, it caused some chaos as the daughter was unable to find the dad. They went over to the nursing home and spot the old man peeping through curtains to see the wife, patiently waiting for the visiting hours. When the nurse closed the curtains, he went over to the other window. When he was allowed in, he sat from 11am -6pm beside the wife. Just being there for her.

Im not a great story teller. But i wish to finally put the two real life encounter somewhere. True love , how and when did it get so difficult.
